The Bergen Record's Food Editor Elisa Ung came to the shop last week, and a photographer followed a few days later. Cheese Sacrifice Purchase Day: What's it about? We're not really sure, except it appears to be about sacrificing cheese so you can catch mice. Forget it. Instead, head to the region's newest cheese shop, Bondgard, whose shelves are lined with New Jersey, New York, Vermont and Connecticut cheeses, as well as artisan breads and homemade desserts. 85 W.
